Bandhan Dhar is a geographer with an acumen for spatial analysis using remote sensing and GIS techniques. He is interested in exploring man-environment relationships in the context of space and time, and is keen towards application of advanced machine learning techniques for modeling spatial dynamics. He is currently a Research and Design Associate of the GRU team at Bengal Institute. He completed his honors and master’s degree with excellent academic records. Before joining Bengal Institute, he worked as a GIS Analyst and Geographer in the Urban Neighborhood Development Project funded by World Bank.
His research interest covers Geospatial analysis, Big data analytics, Spatial and social data mining, Remote sensing GeoAI and Deep Learning.
