Farah Jalil completed her Bachelor’s in Architecture from BRAC University in 2015. She joined Studio Bangi to pursue her interest in animation, interior and product design. Alongside several projects, she helped design and install Jatra Biroti’s rooftop cafe. Farah then left Studio Bangi to pursue product designing. During this period, she worked on product and graphic design for CARE Bangladesh. She also participated in several design competitions, including a furniture design competition at Bay Developers, where she placed third. Through winning another competition, she was involved in designing a furniture prototype made of composite material of jute and resin. Farah then joined Bengal Institute to explore urban design, keeping her love for furniture making alongside.
