Kazi Farzana Akter graduated from the Department of Architecture, North South University in 2020. She finds interest in working on projects that are socially responsible and connect people to nature. Her interest in social transformation reflects in her thesis project where she has worked with a transgender community in Jamalpur. She took an opportunity to renovate an old school in Comilla with Architect Fawaz Aziz Rob in 2017. Along with her passion for architecture and design, she has an immense interest in woodcut printing, and her woodcut print on the Shangshad Bhaban was displayed at the North South University Art Exhibition Center in 2018.

She enjoys the process of transforming her ideas into physical forms, and finds inspiration in cultural and historical context.
