Dhrubo Alam studied Civil Engineering in Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), and got his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in 2011. Then he worked as a Government Engineer in some Transportation Projects (Dhaka BRT and Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project) for few years. He went to Poland in 2013 with UNESCO-Poland Fellowship, to study Transport Systems. He then completed his Masters in International Development Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology (Titech) in 2016. His main work and research concentration is on Urban Transport, especially Public Transport Planning and Accessibility.
