Architect, Professor

He was last the Adjunct Professor of Architecture at the University of Western Australia. In 2008, he was awarded the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Architecture by the University of Western Australia.

Born in 1943, Kerry graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1968 and relocated to Asia in 1971. He was an Australian National, and Permanent Resident of Singapore and held professional registrations for Architectural Practice in Singapore and most Australian States. He lectured and travelled extensively, and taught in several leading Schools of Architecture. He was last the Adjunct Professor of Architecture at the University of Western Australia. In 2008, he was awarded the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Architecture by the University of Western Australia. During his years in Asia, Kerry was responsible for the design of many significant developments. His achievements in his years of practice were recognized by the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and honoring him with their Gold Medal in 2006. In 2010, Kerry received the Singapore President’s Design Award for the Designer of the Year and on Australia Day 2012, he was made an Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AO).
