The book “The Great Padma: The Epic River that made the Bengal Delta” was launched on February 6, 2023, and released internationally in March. Described by some as the best book to come out from Bangladesh in many years, “The Great Padma” is itself an epic presentation of a mighty river.
Kazi Khaleed Ashraf, the editor of the book, sits with Nobonita Chowdhury, journalist and former television host, for a chat on the making of the book, and what new we learn about the Padma.
