In the ongoing series “Exploring Muzharul Islam,” Taufiqur Rahman Khan speaks on the socio-cultural context Muzharul Islam worked in the 1950s and 60s.

An architect and researcher, Taufiqur Rahman Khan completed his B.Arch degree in 1999 from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and started his career at URBANA. Currently he is working as the principal architect of METROPOLIS Architects. Khan takes keen interest in history, philosophy and the impact of the 1947 Partition of South Asia, on various forms of art in Bangladesh and also in other parts of South Asia.
