Friends and colleagues recalled the life and legacy of the architecture maestro Balkrishna Doshi.
Participants to the homage are:
Durganand Balsavar, an architect, environmentalist and writer, and founder of Artes-Human Settlements Research Collaborative.
Neelkanth Chhaya, a renowned academic and architect, and former dean of the faculty of architecture at CEPT, Ahmedabad.
Soumitro Ghosh, a noted architect from Bangalore.
Saif Ul Haque, a noted architect from Dhaka, and an Aga Khan Award for Architecture winner.
Khushnu Panthaki Hoof is director of Vastushilpa Foundation, and a grand-daughter of Doshi.
Juhani Pallasmaa, a Finnish architect, educator, and critic, and a leading international figure in contemporary architecture and design culture.
Adèle Naudé Santos, a renowned architect and urban designer, and the former dean of MIT’s school of architecture and planning.
Martha Thorne, dean at IE University in Madrid, and the executive director of the Pritzker Prize.
Dirk van Gameren, a noted Dutch architect and dean of the school of architecture at TU Delft.
Kazi Khaleed Ashraf, an architect and architectural historian and critic, and heads the Bengal Institute.
