Department: Geographic Research Unit (GRU) at Bengal Institute for Architecture, Landscapes and Settlements.
This position reports to: Coordinator, Geographic Research Unit.

Your profile:
- Academic qualification: Master’s in Geography/Geospatial Science/Environmental Science
- Writing competency: Proficient in writing scientific content in English
- Analytical ability: Capable of analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing geographic data
- Technical skills: Sound expertise in ArcGIS Pro, Google Earth Engine, QGIS, TerrSet, Microsoft Access, and R/Python
Your responsibilities:
- Writing scientific content and full-length article
- Applying novel geospatial tools and techniques for geographic research
- Extracting geospatial data from Satellite Imagery/Topographic maps/Google Maps
- Managing and updating the existing spatial database
- Performing other tasks assigned by the coordinator
