On 9th December, 2020, Marina Tabassum was conferred with an honorary doctorate from the Department of Architecture of the Technical University of Munich.
During a digital award ceremony, she received her doctorate in the attendance of the Dean of the Architecture, Andreas Hild; Vice President of the university Juliane Winkelmann and the Director of the Architekturmuseum der TUM, Andres Leptik.
The Department of Architecture at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) cordially invites to the conferral of the honorary doctorate to Marina Tabassum.
Marina Tabassum, Principal of Marina Tabassum Architects (MTA) and Director of Academic Program at the Bengal Institute for Architecture/ Landscapes and Settlements, will receive the honorary title in recognition of her independent and sustainable architectural works of significant societal value.
