Future Cities Laboratory (FCL) is a program established by ETH-Zurich and Singapore’s National Research Foundation (NRF), operating at the Singapore-ETH Centre. “10 Actions for Urban-Rural Bengal” workshop was organised by ETH Global and FCL to host scientists, planners and architects from Bangladesh and Singapore, so they can work across their disciplines on urgent and complex development issues by sharing their works and experiences.
Bengal being home to some of the most densely populated cities in the world provides a unique case study that can be used to mold cities of the future by addressing and solving issues the region is facing today.
