The Seminar “Learning from the Aga Khan Award for Architecture” is part of an academic program conducted by the Bengal Institute for Architecture, Landscapes and Settlements. The month-long program consists of four thematics, one for each week. The thematics for this year are: The Validation of Architecture, Redefining the Public Realm, Reviewing the City, and Building Community.
To speak on the theme on Reviewing the City, Bengal Institute invited three speakers: former Editor-in-Chief of the international journal Mimar: Architecture in Development, Hasan-Uddin Khan, professor at the American University of Beirut (AUB), Howayda Al-Harithy and professor at the Catholic University of America, Adnan Morshed.
